EXPLORING IJEN TREKKING - BLUE FIRE - STAY

Rise at midnight if you're spending the night in Bondowoso and at 1:00 a.m. if you're spending the night in the Belawan Ijen area. Pack your bags and continue your journey to Paltuding Ijen Crate by Jeep. The journey from Belawan takes approximately 30 minutes and 1:50 hours from Bondowoso. Paltuding is the main gateway to the Ijen Crater Hiking Trail. From there, you'll begin a 3.5 km hike, lasting 1:30 to 2 hours. You'll reach the crater rim and descend to the crater lake area. From there, you'll be able to observe the blue fire phenomenon, mining activities, and the passing of miners. You can admire the blue fire of Ijen Crater until 5:00 a.m., as by the time the sun begins to appear, the blue fire has softened thanks to a brighter light. After admiring the Blue Fire phenomenon, we continue our exploration of the area above Ijen Crater to watch the sunrise. From there, we can capture the most beautiful moments of the acidic lake in Ijen Crater, the Green Tosca.

Day 12 :

BANYUWANGI TO BALI

wake up at 7:00 Am. After getting ready and having breakfast, you'll continue your journey to Bali. We'll cross the seaand have lunch there. we'll visit the Gobleg/ Munduk rice terrace, then the Ulundanu Temple. After exploring the waterfall we'll drop you off at your hotel. Here,. How fit do I need to be to do this trek?

Along Jakarta Bali Overland tour is only Bromo and Ijen crater has a certain difficult trekking route. Any fit person can do this trek, even if you don’t have any previous experience. You should be aware of what to expect and mentally prepare for it. Then, as long as you will do, you can. For Bromo you can start from Jeep parking area until to top of crater, but for Ijen crater you can start from paltuding jeep parking area until to Ijen for 3 – 4 km by taking on foot.

How long do we walk every day when doing Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

On average, you walk about 4 to 6 hours per day. One or two days can be as less as 3hrs and one or two days can be as long as 7hrs.

What about battery charging and hot shower facilities?

Yes, you can charge batteries on route (car). Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well, as long as we take an overnight.

Are there ATMs on the way to Annapurna Base Camp?

Yes, There are many ATMs from the route of this package tour. You will have to draw enough cash in every city or country we visit.

What about internet access?

Not really. It depends on you. If you want “ABC” trekking can be done independently, we cound hire a guide. But during you take of this Gold Package tour, this guide service has already been paid.inclusively, Only Silver Class we don’t provide it, but overland guide yes.

Is it necessary to hire Guides/trekking agency for Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

Not really. It depends on you. If you want, ABC trekking can be done independently. You could hire a guide and a porter by yourself instead of going through an agency or not hire a guide at all. Although, not having a guide can be a little problematic during off season.

It really depends on you. Is it your first time in Nepal? How confident are you of being able to find your way around? How pressed on time are you? If you go through an agency, it will be costlier but everything will be planned. You will only have to come, trek and return.

How much do guides and porters cost?

For Annapurna region, pay for guides range from $20 to $30 per day and porters take $15 to $25 per day.
